About me

Born and raised in South Jersey, I attended Buena Regional High School and graduated in 2016. While at BRHS, I served as the VP of Public Relations of the Executive Board of Student Council, Corresponding Secretary of National Honor Society, was a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, was an active member of Drama Club, in Select Choir, was a Varsity Baseball Manager, Peer Leader, Natural Helper, and a member of Stand Up and REBEL. As active as I was in my high school, I was also Miss Buena 2014 and I still currently sit on the Buena Vista Township Special Events Committee.

As someone who enjoys being incredibly active, I came to York College as an Eisenhart Scholar and my involvement only grew from there. I became involved in York College's Theatre Department, where I perform in one show each semester. I volunteered with Weary Arts Group as a dance teacher in after school programs as well as at the York Revolution Stadium. I have worked with WVYC, York College's radio station, in several roles - currently serving as the General Manager. I have held the positions of orientation coordinator, orientation leader, student ambassador, student senator, and student caller for the York College Fund. I am a sister of the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma, where I serve on the executive board, and have also been inducted to Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communications Honor Society.

Currently I am pursuing a B.A. in both Mass Communications and Public Relations at YCP, with a minor in Speech Communication. I will be graduating from York in December of 2019, completing both degree programs in only seven semesters. The mass communications field has always interested me, and broadcast performance and video editing/production are skills that I have always been confident in. As a mass communications major, I am able to take courses that strengthen not only my skills and confidence, but my love for the field in which I have chosen.

In pursuing my Mass Communications degree, I discovered that I am also incredibly interested in the Public Relations side of communications, which inspired me to dual major. The feeling of being absolutely in love with what you are learning is so amazing, and I am blessed to have found that in my higher education at YCP.
